Property type information [condominiums, apartments, serviced apartments, villas]

There are five types of rental housing in Vietnam:

  • Apartment
  • Apartment
  • terraced house
  • Luxury Serviced Apartment
  • villa

I will explain each feature.

The most common case is to rent a “condominium,” which was built on the premise of selling (selling) each room.

Even in the same apartment, each room has a different owner.

Most people who buy condominiums do so for their own use.

Many properties have luxurious entrances and are guarded 24 hours a day.

In Vietnam, you can rent a tower apartment at a reasonable price in Japan.

In Japan, people often refer to high-rise apartments with 20 floors or more, but in Vietnam, you can rent a 50-square-meter bed for about 1,000 USD even in an apartment with about 50 floors.

The high floors of tower apartments have the advantage of having a good view and less risk of pests, but they have the disadvantages of not having a balcony and taking an elevator to get down to the ground.

In general, a low-rise wooden or brick house with 3 or 4 stories is called an "apartment".

In Vietnam, it is often the case that one owner builds and rents out.

It is used as service apartments and shops.

This is a common pattern in Hemu in Vietnam.

A terrace house is also called a multi-storied house, and its main feature is that it is connected to the next door.

I often see cases where they are used as service apartments.

Luxury serviced apartments are used by many expatriates.

Luxury serviced apartments are owned and leased by each well-known hotel brand, providing a wealth of services for expatriates.

Services range from housekeeping, linen exchange, concierge, golf membership, luxury fitness gym and more.

Famous brands in Ho Chi Minh City include Sedona, Intercontinental and Somerset.

Luxurious Villa 1

Villas are the most luxurious type of rental property.

Villas start from as low as 2000 USD.

Villas also have private luxury pools, private fitness gyms, and each resident often has their own car.

Unlike terrace houses, there is a distance from the neighboring villas, so noise is not an issue.

Please consider a security guard and a maid (meal, laundry, housekeeping) together.

We have introduced 5 property types.

If your budget exceeds about 5000 USD, we recommend that you consider not only condominiums and serviced apartments, but also villas.
