Ho Chi Minh City Metro Fare Table

As it is a public transportation, the cheapest trip for one station is around 7,000 VND (40 yen), and even the trip from Ben Thanh Market to the last stop, Suoi Tien Station, is around 20,000 VND (120 yen), so it is quite reasonable.
It costs 7,000 VND (about 40 yen) from Tao Dien Station, where our office is located, and An Phu Station (in front of Vincom Mega Mall Tao Dien), where many foreigners live, to Ben Thanh Market.
The most affordable means of transportation is Grab Bike, which costs 30,000 VND (about 180 yen) from Tao Dien to Ben Thanh Market, making it the most affordable and convenient means of transportation.

Travel time from Ben Thanh Market to Suoi Tien Station is 29 minutes.
On the opening day, today, December 22nd (Sunday), there were so many people that people had to wait for several hours.
However, after a few days have passed and traffic is running smoothly, it appears that three-car trains will be in operation at all times, so you should be able to get on a train if you wait just 10 minutes.
Ben Thanh Market, Opera House, Le Thanh Ton, Vinhomes Golden River, Tao Dien District, Vincom Mega Mall, and Masteri are now much closer, both physically and emotionally.
Free tickets for the Metro launch
Free tickets are currently being distributed in conjunction with the launch of Ho Chi Minh City's first subway metro.
MasterCard holders can download and register the Metro app to enjoy fare waiver when scanning at the gate until January 9, 2025. Those who do not have a MasterCard can obtain a free card at ticket centers in 14 stations.
We will continue to work with financial institutions and payment institutions on an ongoing basis, making it easier to travel by train.
