Japan and South Korea are the most popular travel destinations for Vietnamese women!<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Q&Me released in Ho Chi Minh City said Japan and South Korea were the most popular travel destinations among Vietnamese women, according to a report released on April 8.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the report, out of 1,200 people surveyed, 24% of respondents chose Japan as their most preferred travel destination, followed by South Korea with 20% of respondents. This was followed by Thailand (12%) in 3rd place, Singapore (11%) in 4th place, and the United States (7%) in 5th place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the reasons for choosing countries such as Japan, South Korea, and Thailand as travel destinations in the survey, 48% of respondents cite scenery, 43% cite culture, 25% food, and 15% entertainment. I mentioned that<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, it is said that Vietnamese citizens obtain tourist information through Facebook information and website information posted by close family and friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In recent years, more and more Vietnamese are traveling abroad. A 2017 report by the global market research firm Euromonitor revealed that the number of people traveling abroad from Vietnam increased by 10% to 15% annually between 2012 and 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Vietnam's Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), 2018 was the year when South Korea became a destination for tourists from Vietnam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first 11 months of 2018, South Korea welcomed 427,000 Vietnamese tourists. This is an increase of 42.1% compared to the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the South Korean government has initiated a policy of easing visa requirements for Vietnamese in major cities. Vietnamese passport holders residing in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City can apply for a 5-year South Korean visa, with a maximum stay of 30 days per stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the revised visa policy, South Korea hopes to further strengthen its exchange, business and investment ties with Vietnam and attract more Vietnamese to visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
