In fact, when I visited Ho Chi Minh, I was attracted enough to eat pho every morning. The ingredients for pho are dry rice, Thai rice, and rice, a kind of rice noodle that can be used for rice noodles and Chinese rice line (Mishen).

During business meetings with local developers and site visits, we often ate pho and bun charzo. Ho Chi Minh's morning is early, and at 7 am, the shops open and the popular street shops soon overflow with Vietnamese people.

Pho is a thin taste made from chicken or beef. Just before eating, basil, coriander (pakchee) leaves are torn in by hand, and chive, chili, etc. are added as desired. It's a thin seasoning that makes good use of the ingredients, so I'm nodding why it is supported by many Japanese. If you go to Ho Chi Minh, give it a try.

Speaking of Vietnam, the city of motorcycles

The photo is from a business trip to Ho Chi Minh City in September 2018.

In Ho Chi Minh City, the government regulates the number of cars and the means of transportation for citizens is motorcycles. Speaking of motorcycles, Honda and Yamaha in Japan are still popular as ever. Although Japan may be making a large amount of ODA and direct investment in Vietnam, there are also many Vietnamese people who like Japanese, as there are still motorcycles with which they are attached.

By the way, in Vietnam, young people in their late twenties are in the population volume zone, and those riding motorcycles will support Vietnam's economy. Nowadays, all roads have motorcycle lanes as the main means of transportation, but it is the same as the image of bicycles in Beijing in the old days, and I think Vietnamese people will stop riding motorcycles in 10 years.

Large shopping malls are being developed one after another

In Vietnam, Vincom Plaza and Vincom Center operated by the Vietnam Zaibatsu Bin Group, Lotte Mart operated by Korean Zaibatsu Lotte, and AEON MALL operated by Japanese AEON are in intense competition. Lotte has already operated about 10 stores since it entered the Korean district 7 wards in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in 2008. The goal is to expand the number of stores nationwide to 60 by 2020, which is an overwhelming number of foreign-affiliated stores. AEON also announced plans to operate 5 stores and 6 stores in Hai Phong City near Hanoi since it entered Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam in 2014, and it seems that it will continue to focus on Vietnam.

The picture was taken at Vincom Mega Mall in Tao Dien, Ho Chi Minh. People were sparse because it was daytime on weekdays, but since the opening in 2016, all tenants have already been filled up, and many Vietnamese people are crowded on Saturdays and Sundays. If you go to Vietnam, be sure to visit here as well.

Cheap and delicious Japanese food

The most famous Japanese town in Ho Chi Minh is Le Thanh Thong Road.
